The Perfect Sleigh Ride with Trull Primary School Choir

Wells City Band and Trull Primary School Choir took a festive ride together in a brand new arrangement for brass band and two part children’s choir of Leroy Andersen’s iconic Sleigh Ride in a fitting climax to our sell out concert at Cedars Hall. Just short of 300 people packed the hall in Wells as Wells City Band and our special guests Trull Primary School Choir with their inspirational musical director Carolyn Tudor performed a beautiful seasoning of Christmas music. A pre-concert performance was given by our thriving Academy Band conducted by Tanya Flagg.

Featuring nearly 60 brass players across the Wells City Band family and the wonderful children’s choir from Trull Primary School this will remain long in our memories as a truly wonderful concert in our long 186 year history and on many levels.

That’s not it for Christmas 2025! Wells City in the last week before Christmas will be out in the heart of our community in care homes, Bishops Palace Illuminated Gardens, Music for Well Being Group, carols at Easton and our annual evening playing round the many pubs in our beautiful city.

Thank you to all at Trull Primary School, especially the children and Carolyn Tudor and to an amazing audience who joined us so enthusiastically and helped us sell out with two weeks still to go before our concert.
