This month we’ve launched the first of several new opportunities for members of Wells City Band for all players in the Main Band, Academy Band and Beginners Group being rolled out in 2026.
All WCB players now have the opportunity to participate in weekly music theory sessions with Oxford University music graduate Marianne Sutton. These theory sessions take place every Friday evening, the bands regular rehearsal night.
This is the first of several new opportunities being made available for all players to support them in improving their all round musicianship and experiences which, in end, is hoped will bring an enhanced enjoyment to their music making.
