Over recent years one of the pleasures of being part of Wells City Band has been the invitations to be the opening act for artists such as Texas, Seth Lakeman, The Lightning Seeds and The Wurzels. 2026 we were back at Party at the Palace and it’s the stunning back drop of The Bishop’s Palace in Wells this time to open up for music icons East 17, Sonia and Dave Finnigan’s Commitments. A glorious day playing a whole set under perfect blue skies in such a glorious setting. Thanks to all at Bishops Palace Wells for their time and commitment in putting on the event every year.
